Gluten Free Cherry Crumble

This DELICIOUS single-serve dessert was made with 4 Iowa ingredients. It takes about 5 minutes to put together and 45 minutes to bake until bubbly and golden brown.

Gluten Free Cherry Crumble


3/4 cup tart cherries

1 tsp maple syrup

dash of cinnamon


1 1/2 Tbsp butter, cut into small cubes

1 Tbsp cricket powder

2 Tbsp oats

1 Tbsp chopped pecans

1 tsp maple syrup

1/4 tsp cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mix together cherries, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Spread in the bottom of small ramekin and set aside.

  3. Mix together cricket powder, oats, cinnamon, and pecans.

  4. Use a fork to mash in butter and maple syrup until well mixed.

  5. Spread over top (In blobs if you like) of the cherry mixture.

  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown.

  7. Top with ice cream or whipped cream. ENJOY!
