This has become my go-to for when I am craving pizza. The crust has a healthy dose of cricket powder adding protein, B-12, iron, calcium, potassium, and pre-biotic fiber. It's sure to be a crowd-pleaser, though, let's be real, any pizza can be a personal pizza if you believe in yourself...
5-Minute Cricket Flatbread Pizza Crust 3/4 cup Flour 1/4 cup 100% Cricket Powder 1 tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup warm water
Pre-heat oven to 550 degrees
Mix together flour, cricket powder, and salt.
Add olive oil and salt. Mix with a fork until combined.
Knead for 1-ish minute until smooth ball of dough is formed.
Roll dough on a piece of parchment paper as thin as possible. The thinner the better.
Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and carefully add toppings (it will be HOT).
Bake for another 5-ish minutes.
**Don't go too overboard on toppings. Structurally, the flatbread won't hold up if you pile it high with veggies and meat. Think simple and flavorful for this crust.
